I like the process of making my cards.

I like that each one is handmade, start-to-finish including the envelope, and no two are alike.

I like that I've gone to friends' homes and seen my cards framed and hanging on the wall. Or maybe a collection of my annual Christmas cards is displayed. 

Whatever the case, these cards are kind of special. A handmade card is different and more individual than a texted "Happy Bday" or a mass Evite... it's a gifted piece of art.

I like to display the cards either framed the traditional way or framed with no glass on the front so the card remains a 3-dimensional object that can be opened and closed. Or just standing, unframed, on a shelf or a table.
